McBeardo reads at Quimby’s Books along with other local crackpots. Saturday, May 23, 2009. 7pm.
Upon moving to Chicago in 2003, I was tickled beyond masculinity to lay eyes on two storied institutions:
1. The Bijou Theater, America’s longest-running all-male porn palace/on-site sodomy club whose epic answering machine messages were broadcast by Howard Stern throughout the ’80s.
2. Quimby’s Books, which peddled my ’zine HAPPYLAND throughout the ’90s.

In the swing, proffering you her shit-slit and even a little baby-gutter, is Meg McCarville aka Lil Princess, who will be reading with me at Quimby’s on May 23, 2009 at 7pm.
